Rucksacks - Our fastest growing category! Welded seam technology has produced totally waterproof rucksacks, and ultralight fabrics have reduced packs weights to as little as 400gms.

Following research into the unique requirements fo the UK market we developed the Triset collection. This is a range of rucksacks where the fit, features and colours have been adapted specifically to UK market requirements demanded.

Bike Luggage - VAUDE's comprehensive range of panniers feature the roll top closure Discover series. Using ultrasonic welded seam construction these panniers are harder wearing and 20% lighter weight than competiors product.

Clothing  -  Featuring eVENT fabrics VAUDE's extensive apparel collection can take you mountaineering, trekking, skiing or biking.

Research & Development

VAUDE's reputation for excellence in mountain sports equipment has been helped by the fact that most of our employees themselves are enthusiastic about mountain sports, and the experience from their adventures flows directly into our products. We challenge the status quo and form our own conclusions, with results that flow directly into our product development. Understanding the mechanisms of how man and gear perform together translates directly into successful design and development.

No material can bypass our testing laboratory in VAUDE HQ, Tettnang where it's thoroughly examined, abraded, shaken up, and torn at. Only when it has successfully passed this stringent testing is it released for manufacturing use. But even then it cannot evade the tough standards of our laboratory. To ensure highest quality control we carry out regular random tests that guarantee quality maintenance of the entire production process. VAUDE's own testing laboratory is unique in the Outdoor industry. This past year, VAUDE has expanded again in order to provide our R&D and quality control teams extensive diagnostic methods and instrumentation for testing textiles and hardware according to the latest standards.
